London Wine Week, UK

May 14-20, 2018

With events in over 125 venues around London, this festival includes tastings, garden parties, sip & snack food pairings and fancy dinners. There’s even an app you can download which gives you all the info you need to know about the events. Nantucket Food & Wine FestivalMassachusetts

May 16-20, 2018

This boutique wine event includes things like tastings, champagne and caviar pairings, galas, dinners, brunches, seminars and even a snazzy St. Tropez party. Some of the most unique events are ‘Namaste then Rosé’, which as the name suggests, starts with yoga followed by rosé wine and a healthy cooking demonstration or the seminar on matching varietal wines with classical music.

Viti Loire, France

May 26-27, 2018

Celebrate the finest vines of the Loire Valley in Tour, France with over 150 wine producers. Enjoy wine workshops and tastings along with some of the best cheeses, jams and other gourmet delights from the region. The events take place in tents and outdoor gardens.

June 14-18, 2018

Various venues will host all sorts of different events for one of France’s largest wine festivals. Parades, boat regattas and food tents complement the wine activities. Stroll the two kilometer wine road that weaves along the river as you sample Bordeaux blends. Or, taste organic wines to the sounds of the Bordeaux-Aquitaine National Opera at the Darwin Center.

Haro Wine Fight, Spain

If dumping buckets of wine all over your friends, family, and well, the whole town sounds fun, this is your dream festival in the famous Spanish wine region of Rioja. Firemen are hard at work shooting wine out of firetruck hoses and locals love to pull out their super soakers filled with the red stuff. Plan to wear googles and take a waterproof bag for your phone.


Polk Street Summer Wine Walk, San Francisco, California

4-8 pm July 19, 2018

Merchants along Polk Street will offer wine samples for shoppers and visitors during the Polk Street Summer Wine Walk. Participants pay $25 and will get to sample wines at all the locations where wine is offered, plus one free wine glass and a map with tasting locations.

Jerusalem Wine Festival, Israel

August 7-10, 2018

Held on the grounds of the Israel Museum, this event kicks off with bands playing on the first evening of the festival, which just so happens to be  Tu B’Av, otherwise known as Israel’s Valentine’s Day. Each day, you can sample different wines in addition to checking out the museum’s exhibits.

St. Pauli Winzerfest, Germany

August 23-26, 2018

Germany’s drink scene goes well beyond just beer. Hamburg hosts a outdoor festival each year that celebrates wine, food and music. Taste all different kinds of German wines while jamming to live bands and snacking on crepes and German cheeses.

Pacific Food & Wine Classic, California

August 18-19, 2018

Sample wine and cuisine with ocean views in Newport, California at this relaxing food and wine festival. Over 60 chefs will be whipping up all sorts of gourmet snacks and meals and you can sip on reds and whites from over 60 different wineries. Proceeds go to the Golden Rule Charity.
