Equipment

  • 1 Large pitcher or punch bowl
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Sharp knife
  • 1 Measuring cup or jigger
  • 1 Stirring spoon
  • 6 Cocktail glasses

Ingredients

  • 1 Bottle Red wine (750 ml) for a smaller gathering, or 2 bottles for a larger crowd
  • 1 Handle Fireball Whiskey 1 handle (approximately 1.75 liters, use sparingly)
  • 2 Mangos Ripe and sliced
  • 2 Oranges Sliced into rounds or wedges
  • 6 Cinnamon sticks For garnish

Instructions

  • Mix Liquids: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the red wine and Fireball Whiskey. The quantity of Fireball should be adjusted based on your preference and the size of your pitcher. Remember, Fireball's cinnamon flavor can mask its alcohol content, so use it sparingly.
  • Prepare Fruits: On a cutting board, slice the mangos and oranges. Make sure to remove any seeds.
  • Add Fruits: Place the sliced mangos and oranges into the pitcher with the wine and whiskey mixture.
  • Stir and Infuse: Use a stirring spoon to mix all the ingredients well. Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour. This allows the flavors to meld together, creating a harmonious blend.
  • Garnish and Serve: When you're ready to serve, give the sangria one last stir. Pour it into your chosen cocktail glasses and garnish each glass with a cinnamon stick for that extra autumnal flair.
