Pomegranate Sangria is a vibrant and flavorful cocktail that's perfect for autumn gatherings. While it may appear complex due to its rich, ruby-red hue and intricate flavors, it's actually quite simple to make. This sangria combines the robustness of red wine with the warmth of brandy, enhanced by the tartness of pomegranate and the sweetness of orange.
1BottleRed wine(750ml) Generally we recommend using a low cost but dry red wine as the fruit in the rest of the recipe will take away from most of the nuances of the wine, but this is a personal preference

Instructions
Combine Liquids: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, mix together the red wine, brandy, pomegranate juice, and orange juice.
Prepare Fruits: On a cutting board, slice the oranges into rounds or wedges, making sure to remove any seeds. Extract the seeds from the pomegranates.
Add Fruits: Add the orange slices and pomegranate seeds to the pitcher.
Stir and Infuse: Use a stirring spoon to mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour. This allows the flavors to meld and the fruits to infuse their essence into the liquid.
Garnish and Serve: Before serving, give the sangria a good stir to distribute the flavors evenly. Pour into cocktail or wine glasses and garnish each with a cinnamon stick for that extra touch of autumnal warmth.
Notes
The brandy in this recipe adds a layer of complexity and warmth, but it's important to use it judiciously. Its strong flavor can easily dominate the sangria, so adjust the quantity based on your preference and the size of your pitcher.
