One of Eger’s most beloved wineries, Thummerer has been in the family since Vilmos Thummerer started producing wine in the 1980s. Today the estate is run with his daughter Eva, who also oversees a highly regarded restaurant on the property — making this a rare destination where the food is every bit as good as the wine. The Bikavér (Bull’s Blood) blends here are among the finest in the region, and the estate also produces impressive dry whites.
