Winetraveler collects the following types of information from Winetraveler users.
Information provided by the user to Winetraveler directly: Your name, password and e-mail address you use when you register for Winetraveler. Communications between you and Winetraveler, such as email and service communication (e.g., account verification, account changes, support correspondence, changes/updates to features of Winetraveler, technical and security notices).
Should a user request it, Winetraveler will delete and remove user data from our database and affiliated platforms. Data removal requests can be sent directly to our support team at support@winetraveler.com.
WineTraveler uses third-party analytics tools to measure Winetraveler traffic and usage trends, as well as other high-level demographic data. These tools (e.g. Google Analytics and Intercom) collect information sent and stored by you as a user on Winetraveler. We collect and use our analytics information with analytics information from other Winetraveler users so that it is aggregated for the large user base and isn’t used to identify any particular individual Winetraveler user or users.
Winetraveler may use cookies and tracking technologies like pixels, web beacons, and local storage to collect information about how you use Winetraveler to best serve you and provide features. Winetraveler may ask advertisers to serve ads or services to your devices, which may use cookies or similar technologies placed by us or the third party.

Winetraveler will not share any information gathered from a user’s Google Contacts connection with any other Winetraveler user or with any third party. Winetraveler will not save or store any Google Contacts search results.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is important to us. For that reason, we do not collect or maintain information at our properties from those we know to be under 21 years of age, as is complicit with United States Law, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under 21. Separately, our website discusses alcohol consumption in a responsible way, and therefor is not geared to attract individuals within the United States who are not of legal drinking age.
