Wine should be very pure and natural. The only thing synthetic about our wine is the plastic cork, so you never have to worry about getting a “corked” wine. We drink more of our wine than anyone else and we want it to be healthful and nutritious. We guarantee our wine.  Wine with full, rich flavor. Wine that makes food and friends better. Wine that brings dismay when you find the bottom. Wine that makes music in the glass, sings on the tongue to tell where it grew. Wine that you can afford to drink.

Paradisos del Sol Winery and Organic Vineyard is a small family-owned winery, using grapes primarily from our organic pesticide-free Vineyard del Sol here at our winery. Paradisos del Sol is an expression of my soul. The winery is not named for me (even though I am plenty arrogant!), because it is more than just my sweat in a bottle of Paradisos Red. We are believers in letting the grapes become wine. We are Winegrowers not Winemakers.

Sometimes we use barrels, sometimes tanks. Most often a barrel is the cocoon where the juice transforms into a dry table wine. Sometimes the wines yearn to be sweet and luscious and a temperature-controlled tank is the cocoon.

Based at our farm in Zillah, Paradisos is a complete estate winery. Grapes are crushed and wines are bottled with the help of friends.

Tasting

We offer a micro-mini 10-course winemaker tasting, 10 teensy tiny bites of food to go with our 10 different wines. Sip, Sip, Bite, Sip!

We start off with our famous Rosé Paradiso and Mushroom Patê, Brie and our Oyster White, Paul's Peanut Sauce with our Sève, a bit of Wasabi-Ginger Rice as an accompaniment to our Riesling, and Pasta ArtiPesto for our B's Blend.

Next are our reds—with our Sangiovese we are serving Glondo's Pepperoni. Paradisos Red is our pizza wine; we would love to have pizza, but it just doesn't seem to work as a small-bite option, who can eat just one bite? So instead, we use another great Glondo product, Salami. This is followed by our ever famous Bleu-Cheese Dip with our Cabernet Sauvignon. And now we are ready for dessert, two of them! With the Zort, we have a tiny bite of dark chocolate; we suggest you melt this in your mouth rather than bite.

Last, but not least, is our Angelica MRS. We have a skosh of Vegan Pumpkin Custard to go with that.

Tasting Price: Our $10 tasting fee is applied towards a purchase of at least $20.
Part of every tasting fee paid is donated to the Yakima Humane Society. Passport and Premier Pass holders receive 10% to 50% discounts.
