La Verrière is uniquely situated at an elevation of 550 meters (1,800 feet) within a UNESCO biosphere reserve in the shadow of the Mont Ventoux. Typical of other high elevation areas, there is very little topsoil.
Thanks to our altitude, we benefit from both Nothern and Southern Rhone Valley climates. The North-South identities of the property have been captured in our two flagship reds, Abélard and Héloïse.
