Tenuta Gambalonga winery has been producing high quality wines with a long family tradition since 1902.
It is only 60 kms far from Venice(within Padova province).
The wine area is in the Eugenean Hills Regional Park and its homonymous Colli Euganei DOC was recognised in 1969.
The Colli Euganei Serprino DOC wine (we like to think of it as the elegant version of Prosecco) and the sweet aromatic Fior d’Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG wine (made of Yellow Muscat grapes) are the most representative wines.
Fior d’Arancio has three versions: Dry, Sweet Sparkling and Passito (Dessert wine).
Fior d’Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG has a light and delicate aroma very similar to the one you smell in a citrus grove during warm Spring/Summer days.
You will be surprised by its elegant and aromatic notes when you taste it for the first time.
In addition to this indigenous grape variety, Tenuta Gambalonga produces Raboso wine, a nice Rosè ideal for the Summer.
International varietals such as Cabernet and Merlot are produced too. The indigenous grapes Garganega and Glera are moreover typical wines of the area.
Wine tastings are available in the brand new B&B.
Emanuele Gambalonga and his wife Michela will take you inside the vineyards and their cellar to teach you everything about their technical method and the indigenous grapes from Colli Euganei. The tasting will be paired with local foods.
