Karl McElligott is the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the Stowe Mountain Lodge and a certified member of the Court of Master Sommeliers with over 15 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. An Irish-born American national, Karl’s education includes degrees in Hotel Management and Business Studies from the Dublin Institute of Technology and the Dublin College of Catering, respectively. Before joining the Stowe Mountain Lodge team in 2012, he served as the Head Facilitator and Trainer of mixology at Harvard University. In Phoenix, Arizona, Karl managed multiple restaurants at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge, and then oversaw all of the Food & Beverage operations as the Director of Restaurants at the luxurious Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park.
