About this winery
József Bock transformed a small family farm into one of Villány's most celebrated estates over three decades, building a reputation for powerful, age-worthy red wines that helped put the region on the international map. The estate also includes a boutique hotel and restaurant, making it a genuine wine destination rather than just a tasting stop. The underground cellars — stretching hundreds of metres beneath Villány village — are among the most impressive in Hungary and form the centrepiece of any visit.
