About Champagne Drappier
The guided tour goes through vaulted cellars built in 1152 by the Cistercian monks of Clairvaux and lasts about 30 to 40 minutes before a tasting. The tasting includes wines from the forgotten grapes Arbane, Petit Meslier and Blanc Vrai that the house still grows. From April to October a 57 euro picnic package adds a bottle for two and local products.
Visitors single out medieval cellars, forgotten grapes, family-run house. The estate dates from 1808.
