About EFESTE
Warehouse District winery opened in 2005 by Daniel Ferrelli with his daughter Angela and son-in-law Kevin Taylor, and the one Visit Seattle tells you to start the day at for Washington Riesling. It is a working winery you taste inside (reviewers get impromptu tank tours from the owner), with a real food menu including pizza and antipasto. $25 for six wines, waived with two bottles; walk-ins welcome, parties of eight or more must book.

Visiting
Walk-ins welcome. About 30 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle by SR 520 or I-5 and SR 522 outside rush hour; from the Kirkland and Bellevue side of Lake Washington it is 12 to 30 minutes up I-405, and from Sea-Tac about 35 minutes.
