About Rivetto
Rivetto has farmed the hill of Lirano, between Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba, since 1902. Under Enrico Rivetto the estate has become a biodynamic farm in the Langa of Barolo, where vines share the slopes with fruit trees, herbs, cereals and a few resident donkeys, and the cellar at Sinio makes Barolo from the Serralunga d'Alba commune alongside the estate's other Langhe wines.
The estate welcomes visitors for wine tastings and for what it calls experiences in nature, both booked in advance through its website, and it has its own suites for guests who want to stay among the vineyards.
In September 2026 Rivetto and Hurtigruten raised 1,002 bottles of the 2021 Serralunga d'Alba Barolo after twelve months at 34 meters on the seabed off Kirkenes, in Arctic Norway. The first Barolo aged in Arctic waters, named Arctic Barolo, is served exclusively on board Hurtigruten's coastal ships.
