About Stolpman Vineyards Tasting Room

The Los Olivos patio for the Stolpman family's Ballard Canyon estate, planted in the early 1990s on a limestone outcrop that suits Syrah and Roussanne, farmed organically and dry-farmed with native fermentations in the cellar. Two flights are poured daily (25 dollars, free for club members), parties are capped at six, and the La Cuadrilla bottling sends its profits to the vineyard crew.

Visitors single out organic ballard canyon syrah, sunny patio, roussanne and rhone whites. The wines to look for are Syrah, Roussanne.

Visiting

Walk-ins most days; book on weekends. Two to two and a half hours from Downtown LA up the 101 to Los Olivos and the Sta. Rita Hills; Santa Barbara city and the Funk Zone are closer at roughly an hour and 45 minutes without traffic.
