About this winery

Hétszőlő — meaning 'seven vineyards' — is one of Tokaj's most historic estates, with records of the property dating back to the 17th century. Today the winery produces elegant dry Furmint and classic Tokaji Aszú wines from a beautifully restored cellar in the heart of Tokaj town, making it one of the most accessible estates for visitors. The tasting room is warm and welcoming, and staff are well-versed in explaining both the unique terroir of the Tokaj hills and the intricate process of botrytised winemaking.
