Bolyki Winery

Bolyki is one of Eger’s most exciting and highly rated wineries, run by first-generation winemaker János Bolyki with a passion that makes every visit memorable. The winery sits just outside Eger and is an easy and very popular day trip from Budapest by train. Bolyki himself often leads tastings, walking visitors through his entire production facility and sharing the story of how he built the estate from scratch. The wines — particularly his Bikavér blends and single-variety Kékfrankos — punch well above their price point and the experience regularly earns five-star reviews.
