Two people from different parts of the world came together to carve out a countryside vineyard and winery in the heart of the Yadkin Valley.
What was once a tobacco farm is now one of the Yadkin Valley's largest vineyards. Malcolm Hutton, a native of Liverpool, England, traveled around the world through his engineering career. Malcolm met his wife, Heidi, while working on a project in her native Venezuela. The two purchased their dream farm in 2002 in the historic community of Rockford and began their winery journey. They now grow 45 acres of grapes at their countryside vineyard and produce dry, European-style wines.
Wine tastings are offered at Hutton Vineyards.
Wine tours can be arranged at Hutton Vineyards.
