About Cave des Producteurs de Vouvray
The Vouvray growers' cooperative in the Vallee Coquette, where guided visits walk through kilometres of tuffeau galleries stacked with millions of bottles of still and sparkling Vouvray before a tasting. English-language tours run at 11:30am and 4pm from March to December, French tours at 11am, 3pm and 5pm, and a small platter can be added to the tasting. The Les Gueules Noires restaurant is a few hundred metres up the same valley for lunch.
Visitors single out tuffeau galleries, english tours, sparkling and sweet chenin. The wines to look for are Chenin Blanc.
