About Champagne Claude Cazals
Founded in 1897 by a cooper from the Hérault; Claude Cazals later invented the gyropalette used across Champagne for riddling. Delphine Cazals hosts tastings by reservation in the family house, once the country home of Nobel Peace Prize winner Léon Bourgeois. The estate owns the walled Clos Cazals in Oger.
Visitors single out gyropalette inventor, walled clos, owner-hosted tastings. The estate dates from 1897.
