About Champagne Georges Cartier
Guided tours of hand-dug 18th-century chalk cellars a short walk from the Avenue de Champagne, with a 1900 bottle lift still in use, an old Darcq press, sculptures, a fresco and a small wine museum. The visit ends with a commented tasting of the cuvées from 12 EUR per person. Tours are by appointment, possible the same day, at 10:30, 12:00, 14:30 and 16:00; a champagne bar serves charcuterie and cheese boards.
Visitors single out chalk cellars, small museum, champagne bar.
