About Champagne Godme Sabine
An independent grower on the Rue du Phare in Verzenay, the Grand Cru village whose vineyard lighthouse (the Phare de Verzenay) is visible from the tasting room and terrace. Sabine leads the visit herself through the press room, cellars and vat room before a tasting with the vines in view; visits run in English and French and the estate holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification and the Vignobles et Decouvertes label. Opening hours are confirmed by phone, so call or email before driving out.
Visitors single out owner-led visits, lighthouse views, warm family welcome. The wines to look for are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay.
