About Château de Mille
Château de Mille claims the title of the oldest wine estate in the Luberon, and its grounds on the road between Apt and Bonnieux feel it, with the old château, the vines and a walk you can take on your own before tasting. Constance and Lawrence Slaughter took over the estate and began converting it to organic farming in 2018.
The caveau opens Monday to Saturday from May to October, with long summer hours, and by appointment from November to April. A self-guided tour by QR code runs during opening hours, an exclusive guided visit can be reserved, and the estate runs a wine escape game for 10 to 20 EUR a person.
