About DeLille Cellars
Founded in 1992 and one of the wineries that made Woodinville's name for Bordeaux-style blends; since 2019 the whole operation lives in the converted Old Redhook Brewery in the Hollywood District, with a multi-floor tasting room, a library room and its own restaurant. Standard tastings are $30 for five pours, there is a Saturday winery tour with food pairing, cheese and charcuterie on the menu, and leashed dogs are allowed on the first-floor patio. Open daily to 7pm (8pm Friday and Saturday).
Visitors single out knowledgeable hosts, four flags cabernet, cheese and charcuterie. The wines to look for are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon. The estate dates from 1992.
Visiting
Book ahead. About 30 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle by SR 520 or I-5 and SR 522 outside rush hour; from the Kirkland and Bellevue side of Lake Washington it is 12 to 30 minutes up I-405, and from Sea-Tac about 35 minutes.
