About Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard
Founded in 1973 and now one of the largest family estates in Chablis, with a visitor centre on the hill at Prehy beside the Sainte-Claire church, 10 minutes south of town. The Discover visit (about 45 minutes, 5 euros, free with a 25 euro purchase) walks through a geology room, a panoramic vineyard viewpoint and the winemaking hall before three cuvees in the cellar; the Terroir and Sensation experiences (1.5 hours, 15 euros, max 10 people, 48 hours notice) add five wines with charcuterie or cheese. Guides compare organic and conventional parcels side by side.
Visitors single out panoramic cellar view, organic versus conventional flights, cheese pairings. The wines to look for are Chardonnay. The estate dates from 1973.
