About Jean Leon
Founded in 1963 by Catalan-American winemaker Jean Leon, one of the first Penedès producers to plant Cabernet Sauvignon. The visitor center pairs a museum room with a tour of the winery and a tasting.
Visitors single out knowledgeable guides, red wines, beautiful setting. The wines to look for are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay. The estate dates from 1963.
Visiting
Reservation required. Sant Sadurní d'Anoia is about 40 minutes from Barcelona on the AP-7, and Vilafranca del Penedès another 15 minutes beyond it.
