About Ktima Palivou
One of the two largest estates in Nemea, founded in 1995 by Georgios Palivos and now run with his daughters. It grows a wide range from Agiorgitiko to Roditis and Moschofilero, and it is the best-reviewed winery in the appellation.
Visitors single out wide range of estate wines, family-led tastings, cheese and wine pairing menu. The wines to look for are Agiorgitiko, Roditis, Moschofilero. The estate dates from 1995.
Visiting
Book ahead. About ninety minutes to two hours southwest of Athens on the A7 motorway through Corinth, so treat it as a long day trip or, better, an overnight.
