About Markou Vineyards
Markou has farmed the same Peania vineyards since 1908, when the current owners' great-grandfather planted the first vines. The estate produces a dozen different labels a year and keeps a small museum of old winemaking equipment on site.

Book ahead. Twenty-five to forty-five minutes from central Athens and ten to fifteen minutes from the airport, making this an easy half-day or pre-flight stop.
