Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery is a boutique Tuscan-styled winery handcrafted by the Ruggiero family and friends. While building the winery the Ruggiero family incorporated as much renewable technology keeping in mind environmental friendly practices. A geothermal heating and cooling system was incorporated in the building along with many recyclable products. You will find yourself enjoying your wine tasting at a handcrafted copper bar, surrounded by chandeliers and mahogany tables, which provide a romantic setting to enjoy with friends and family as you take in the beautiful Connecticut countryside. The winery was designed to be a relaxing place where you could feel at home relaxing with a glass of wine and enjoying the company of your guests.
Our vines bask in a valley surrounded by rolling hills and grow in a rocky gravelly loom. Our unique terroir provides the vines with great drainage and ideal conditions to produce exceptional grapes.
Paradise Hills Vineyard invites you to visit our beautiful tasting room located in the heart of Connecticut on the east side of Wallingford’s country side. Our daily wine tastings are first come first serve in a standing form at our main custom copper wine bar. Paradise Hills wines have been awarded 85+ points from several well renowned wine competitions and are acknowledged as some of the best in the region. After enjoying your wine tasting during any season you can relax by our wood burning fireplace or step outside overlooking our beautiful vineyards while enjoying your favorite Paradise Hills wine.
Don’t forget to bring your picnic basket with some of your favorite gourmet treats! We do also have an outside bar that is open throughout the warm months on the weekends for returning visitors who are interested in purchasing a wine by the glass or by the bottle to enjoy. Paradise hills prides itself on providing guests with an educational wine experience delivered with the upmost degree of hospitality and service.
Paradise Hills Wine Tasting Guidelines
Wine tastings are first come first serve at our main copper bar, we do not take reservations.
Our Wine Tasting consists of 6 pre-selected wines for $12.00 or $17.00 with the Paradise Hills logo glass included.
If you are interested in sampling other wines on our menu but are not included under the 6 per-selected on the tasting you can request a sample for an additional $2.00 charge per wine.
All wine tastings stop 1 hour prior to close, Monday – Saturday 7pm and Sunday 5pm.
No sales will be conducted past 7:45pm Monday – Saturday or 5:45pm on Sunday.
We do not allow any kind of outside beverages.
Supervised children are welcome.
Leashed dogs are welcome and allowed outside.
