Ca` del Bosco Winery, Wine Tastings, Tours, Reviews & Events in Franciacorta

Ca` del Bosco believe on the respect for tradition meaning continuous improvement and never falling back on the generic and perhaps rather arid celebration of memory. Bringing together modernity and the past.

What was once a house in a chestnut wood became one of the most trailblazing wineries in Italy. Since then a single principle has been defining the essence of Ca’ del Bosco: the quest for excellence.

The term Terroir evokes green landscapes, gentle hills, sunny slopes, geometric layout designed by lengthy rows, people devoted to a passion for the places and traditions of their landA terroir is therefore a concrete, tangible place defined by many factors: geography, soil, water and microclimate. A real and life-filled concept that also has a cultural dimension tied closely to its community. Franciacorta, a morainic basin south of Lake Iseo, an excellent terroir.

Ca' del Bosco opens its cellars for tours designed to give wine enthusiasts first-hand knowledge of how Franciacorta is made and to guide them around the vineyards at the winery. A walk through the Ca' del Bosco barrique cellars, historic repositories of art and innovation, takes visitors to the Cupola.
A tour of the winery is a unique experience demonstrating the dedication that goes into every stage of production, artisanal in care and refined in technology.Cooling cells for the grapes, oxygen- and jolt-free handling, aerial tanks that pour through gravity and bottling lines ideated and designed by Ca’ del Bosco are only some of the technological passages shown on the tour.
Long corridors and subterranean cellars take visitors along a route leading to the stone dome, considered the heart of Ca’ del Bosco Franciacorta. The silence, darkness, moisture and natural temperatures cradle the wines’ fermentation in bottles, their maturation in small oak barrels and their refinement.
