Salcheto is an organic winery near Montepulciano in southern Tuscany, founded in 1984 and farming around 60 hectares of certified-organic vineyards. It specializes in Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and other Sangiovese-based wines, and is known for its energy-efficient, sustainability-focused cellar built in 2011. The estate welcomes visitors year-round with tours and tastings, plus an on-site wine bar and restaurant and guest accommodation.
