About this winery

Castello di Fonterutoli is a Chianti Classico estate in the hamlet of Fonterutoli, just south of Castellina in Chianti, owned by the Mazzei family since 1435. The estate spans roughly 650 hectares with around 110 hectares of vineyards across several sites, producing Sangiovese-based Chianti Classico including Gran Selezione and the Super Tuscan Siepi. It runs a wine resort and offers guided winery tours, tastings and dining at the on-site Osteria di Fonterutoli.
