About Château la Canorgue
Château la Canorgue sits just below Bonnieux on the road to the Pont Julien and was the first vineyard in the Luberon to be certified organic, a conversion the Margan family began in the 1970s. Five generations have farmed here, and the wines, red, white and rosé under the AOP Luberon, are made to show the estate rather than the cellar.
The caveau is open Monday to Saturday, mornings and afternoons, with longer hours in July and August, and tastings are walk-in. The golden stone farmhouse is a well-known film location, but the family would rather you came for the wine than the movie, and the château itself is not open to visitors.
