About Domaine de Fontenille

Vines have been recorded at Fontenille since 1638, and the estate today farms 40 hectares organically under the AOP Luberon around an 18th-century bastide that is also a Relais and Châteaux hotel. It is the one place in the Luberon where you can taste, dine at a Michelin-listed table and sleep without leaving the vineyard.

Cellar visits with a tasting run about an hour and cost 22 EUR for a minimum of two people, booked ahead through the estate; the wine shop sells the range year-round. Lourmarin is about ten minutes away by car.
