About Domaine de la Citadelle

Domaine de la Citadelle was founded in 1990 by film producer Yves Rousset-Rouard on the slope directly beneath Ménerbes, and since the end of 2022 it has been owned by Valérie and Yannick Panagiotis. The vines have been farmed organically since 2016, and the range runs from easy Luberon rosé to the serious Gouverneur reds.

The caveau opens daily from May to October and six days a week in winter, with a free tasting and a terrace looking over the vines to the village. Book the guided tour with tasting (25 EUR) if you want to see the cellar, and leave half an hour for the Corkscrew Museum, founded in 1993 and the first of its kind in the world, with more than 1,200 pieces.
