About this winery

Founded in 1848, Domaine du Mont d’Or is the oldest wine estate in Valais and the house that introduced Johannisberg to Switzerland — still its flagship, grown on dramatic terraces above Sion. Certified organic, it runs a polished visitor programme (by appointment) that pairs its wines with Valais cheese and even an open-air escape game.
