About this winery

If Lavaux has a flagship name, it is Domaine Louis Bovard in Cully. Now in its tenth generation, the estate is the reference for age-worthy Chasselas — above all its Dézaley Grand Cru “Médinette” — with parcels that read like a Lavaux roll-call: Dézaley, Calamin, Epesses, Saint-Saphorin and Villette. Louis-Philippe Bovard, who took the reins in 1983, later founded the world Chasselas conservatory at Rivaz. Best of all for travelers, the Vinothèque in Cully welcomes walk-in tastings, making one of the region’s great names genuinely easy to visit.
