Heart & Hands Wine Company is a small, family-owned winery on the northeastern shore of Cayuga Lake in Union Springs, founded in 2006 by Tom and Susan Higgins. Tom Higgins serves as owner, winemaker, and vineyard manager, focusing on cool-climate Pinot Noir, Riesling, and traditional-method sparkling wine.
A roughly 2,000-case annual production keeps the emphasis on quality and food-friendly styles that express Finger Lakes terroir. Visitors can book a seated Signature Tasting or a founder-led UTV vineyard tour; the tasting room keeps a seasonal, mostly weekend schedule that pauses in deep winter.
Our tasting room is a small and intimate setting, and we focus on spending time with our guests during their visit while sharing the story behind our wines. We offer several different guided tasting flights, led by Susan and our experienced staff of wine enthusiasts.
We have a no limo / bus / RV policy and we do not accommodate groups of 6 or more during our normal tasting room hours.
