Jones von Drehle Vineyards and Winery is a 65-acre family-owned winery on the rising slope of the Blue Ridge northwest of Elkin.
Chuck and Diana Jones and Ronnie and Raymond von Drehle are in-laws who had a mission to start a fine wine vineyard and winery in their home state of North Carolina. Their journey began in 2007 when they found the perfect land under the Blue Ridge Mountain skies. Jones von Drehle is an estate winery, producing wines solely from the 30 acres of vines grown on the property. Carefully selected varieties were planted, each in an area of the vineyard that provides the best location to produce the highest quality fruit. The winery relies on the premise that great wine starts in the vineyard. Jones von Drehle’s high-quality dry wines are served in select fine restaurants throughout North Carolina.
