About Sparkman Cellars

Family winery founded in 2004 by Chris and Kelly Sparkman that moved into the former Redhook Brewery site next to DeLille in 2020, with an intimate tasting room, a wraparound 5,000 square foot patio with fire pits and a working production facility behind it. Open daily noon to 5pm; reservations are encouraged to guarantee a table but walk-ins are seated when space allows.

Visitors single out fire-pit patio, single-block cabernet, warm hospitality. The wines to look for are Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc. The estate dates from 2004.

Visiting

Walk-ins most days; book on weekends. About 30 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle by SR 520 or I-5 and SR 522 outside rush hour; from the Kirkland and Bellevue side of Lake Washington it is 12 to 30 minutes up I-405, and from Sea-Tac about 35 minutes.
