About this winery
Tenuta Calimaia is a Frescobaldi wine estate near the village of Cervognano, east of Montepulciano, presented by the family in 2022. It produces Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) with a small share of complementary red varieties, from vineyards at around 300 metres elevation between the Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia.
