About this winery
Tenuta Il Poggione is a historic estate at Sant'Angelo in Colle in the Montalcino area of southern Tuscany, and one of the founding members of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium. The estate covers a large surface with vineyards planted primarily to Sangiovese for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, along with olive groves. On-site it operates Agriturismo Il Poggione, a restored farmhouse with self-catering apartments, and offers private tours and tastings by arrangement.
