The Bertani Family and their generations of winemaking experience have helped to form a unique philosophy for the creation of fine wines. Through meticulous care of the vineyard and sustainable viticultural methods, time honored techniques -- Veronese varietals and the adoption of current innovation have shown Santa Maria Valverde success.
The Bertani brothers became the first in the region to bottle and sell Veronese wines such as Valpolicella Ripasso, Recioto and Soave on a large scale.
The wine shop is open to the public with a full selection of their vintages.
The winery, villa, the English style park and gardens are open to the public for tours and tastings from Monday afternoon through Sunday.
The facilities are also available for private and corporate events.
