Seven Hills Winery was established in 1988 after my father and I planted the Old Blocks of Seven Hills Vineyard eight years prior. We became the fifth winery in Washington’s Walla Walla Valley, a region that is now home to more than 100 wineries that are producing some of the best wine in the country.
The Seven Hills Winery portfolio is focused on Merlot and Bordeaux-style red wines notable for balancing structure and grace. Since 1988, Seven Hills Winery has worked to cultivate long-term relationships with the oldest and most respected growers in the Northwest.
Our exceptional vineyard program focuses on Walla Walla Valley and Red Mountain and includes the estate-designated Seven Hills Old Blocks.
Seven Hills Winery Tasting Room
Seven Hills Winery and Tasting Room is located in downtown Walla Walla in the historic Whitehouse-Crawford building, which operated as a woodworking mill and furniture factory from 1904 until 1988.
The construction of our tasting room was carefully planned and carried out to preserve the character and charm of the building, including the original brick exterior and red fir floors. This historic building celebrates not only our wines but also the history of Walla Walla Valley.
Experiences
Join us for a tasting at the tasting bar or for our new Food & Wine Experience. Our informed tasting room staff of wine educators is known for offering warm, educational, inviting tasting experiences.
Tastings are available for walk-ins or by appointment. For the Food & Wine Experience, they will take you through our finest limited-release wines expertly paired with small bites by local chef Sarah Mayhew. You’ll also get a guided tour highlighting the winemaking process and finishing with a barrel sample of one of our finest wines.
The wine educators at Seven Hills are also happy to provide recommendations on some of their favorite places to visit in the Walla Walla Valley.
