About this winery

Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery is one of the oldest and most recognized wineries in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. Centrally located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake. Family Owned and operated, the 4th and 5th generation Wagners are in the vineyards on Seneca Lake and in the cellar to bring you the best quality Finger Lakes wine. Wagner Vineyards has been one of the region’s most popular wine tasting destinations since opening in 1979.

Wagner Vineyards has over 30 award winning wines ranging from bone dry to dessert wine sweet. Whether your palate prefers red wine, white wine, light and sweet wines made from grapes native to the Finger Lakes region or dry European, or vinifera, style wines you will be sure to find a wine for you. Visit our winery for a tasting and while you’re there enjoy lunch at the Ginny Lee Cafe and beer tasting from our craft brewery!

Wagner Valley Brewing Company typically has 9-12 craft beers available in the brewery with styles ranging from light to dark, bitter to sweet. The Ginny Lee Cafe offers a wide selection of delicious food with original recipes that are made to be paired with your favorite Wagner wine or beer.

Fall
Finger Lakes wine tasting tours are extremely popular in the fall. The season peaks Labor Day through Thanksgiving with weekend visitors touring the region for wine tastings, foliage viewing and observing harvest activities. Weekends during the Fall are an exciting time to visit. Weekdays generally are a little slower paced than weekends, but can still be quite busy on a beautiful autumn day. Bring a sweatshirt and relax with a glass of wine on our deck overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery in the Finger Lakes.

Winter
The parking lot is cleared and the heat is on, winter is a great time to visit! Enjoy the region’s captivating scenery, but at a less hectic pace. Take your time tasting, touring, shopping and visiting with the folks at Wagner Vineyards.

Spring
Also a wonderfully scenic time to visit; the views change daily as the vineyards and hillsides are erupting with fresh green growth after the winter dormancy. Weekends can be busy, but you are unlikely to have to wait for a wine tasting.

Summer
There is plenty of fun available in the Finger Lakes region during the summer months. All of the area parks, restaurants and seasonal attractions are open this time of year. We host lots of visitors, but rarely at the volume we see in the fall. Summer is a great time for a day trip to Wagner Vineyards – taste, tour, dine & shop all in one stop. We also have live entertainment on the Brewdeck every Friday evening from Memorial Day thru Labor Day weekend – be sure to check the event listing.
