Martin Nigl is widely regarded as the finest producer in the Kremstal, crafting Grüner Veltliner and Riesling of exceptional purity and precision from vineyards around the village of Senftenberg. The estate has been farming here since the 1960s and today encompasses around 30 hectares of prime sites on loess and primary rock soils. Nigl's wines — particularly his single-vineyard Rieslings — age magnificently and have attracted international critical acclaim. The family-run winery offers a warm, personal tasting experience in a region that remains underappreciated despite producing wines of world-class quality.
