About this winery
Heron Hill Winery overlooks Keuka Lake at Hammondsport, with roots in a vineyard the Ingle family planted in 1972. It is known for a range of cool-climate Rieslings, from dry, terroir-driven reserves to ice wines, and has become a Finger Lakes destination for tastings, micro-weddings, and outdoor music events. The winery also runs a second tasting room on Canandaigua Lake.
As of 2025 its winemaking is led by associate winemaker Rick Porter alongside consulting winemaker Nova Cadamatre, a Master of Wine.
