Whether you’re looking to sip a glass in the deserts of Arizona, mountains of Telluride, plains of the Midwest or shores of the Coasts, we’ve got your options covered. Call your friends, or pack up the stroller, or better yet plan a romantic getaway, and check out these wine events across the U.S.

Food and Wine Festivals – Summer 2019 List

Sierra Vista Sips & Skies – May 25, 2019 – Sierra Vista, Arizona

The 3rd Annual Sierra Vista Sips & Skies gives you a taste the Arizona’s best wines, micro brews, and distilled spirits, plus some great entertainment.

North Carolina Wine Festival – May 25, 2019 – Clemmons, North Carolina

This is the 19th Annual North Carolina Wine Festival at Tanglewood Park where you can taste more than 100 different wine varieties from North Carolina.

Atlanta Food & Wine Festival – May 30 to June 2, 2019 – Atlanta, Georgia

Since 2011, the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival has been shining an international spotlight on the food, wine, beer and spirits of the South. The four-day weekend showcases more than 250 chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and industry insiders from 13 Southern states. 

Vintage Indiana Wine & Food – June 1, 2019 – Indianapolis, Indiana

Vintage Indiana Wine Fest is the biggest annual celebration of wines produced in Indiana. This year’s festival features nearly 30 Indiana wineries, 300 wines, live entertainment, food and shopping experiences.

Winefest – June 1 to June 8, 2019 – Des Moines, Iowa

The 16th annual Winefest Des Moines is a week-long celebration of local wine and food culture. Whether you enjoy your wine in a lawn chair with live music or prefer a sit-down dinner with the perfect pairings, there is a Winefest event you’re sure to love.

Annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival – June 1 & June 2, 2019 – Lakewood, New Jersey

For the 9th annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival you can sample wines from a variety of award-winning Garden State wineries. In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment, as well as crafters, retail and food vendors.

Savor Idaho – June 10, 2019 – Boise, Idaho

Each year the Idaho Wine Commission gathers the state’s premier wineries for Savor Idaho. Guests can talk with the winemakers and sample their hand-crafted, award-winning wines. Wineries also offer samples of their latest releases and bottles for purchase.

Aspen Food & Wine Classic – June 14 to June 16, 2019 – Aspen, Colorado

Join celebrity chefs, renowned winemakers, and epicurean insiders for a spectacular weekend at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen. This premier culinary event consists of three incredible days of cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and panel discussions led by world-class chefs and wine experts.

Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival – June 15, 2019 – Sawyer, Michigan

Located at the scenic Warren Dunes State Park along the shores of Lake Michigan, this annual event features wines by taste or by the glass, from locally-grown-and-produced varietals from The Lake Michigan Shore AVA. The festival also offers live music programming, access to the beach and the Warren Dunes.

Great Tastes of Pennsylvania – June 22 & June 23, 2019 – Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania

Uncork summer with the 29th Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine & Food Festival. This two-day, outdoor festival features samples from an estimated 30 Pennsylvania wineries, food and craft vendors, three stages of live musical entertainment, giveaways, and contests. 

Summer Solstice Festival – Natural Wines – June 22, 2019 – Clarksburg, Maryland

Summer Solstice is a festival-style celebration of the best low-intervention winemakers from around the world pouring 100+ unique wines under a circus tent on a serene hilltop. This is a landmark gathering of the natural wine community  featuring farmers, winemakers, live art, music, provisions and purveyors.

Côtes du Rhône Festival – June 23, 2019 – New York, New York

The event will be hosted at Second Floor, a stunning open-air venue in Manhattan, on Sunday, June 23rd from 5:15-8:30 pm. Over 60 wines will be showcased throughout the festival from a seminar to the main tasting.
These wines span the different styles of the Côtes du Rhône, highlighting the diversity and
heritage of the area. Guests can explore them alongside a regionally inspired menu—featuring
the flavors of lavender, truffles and olives—crafted by celebrated chefs.

Telluride Wine Festival – June 27 to June 30, 2019 – Telluride, Colorado

In this historic mining town, the annual festival brings together renowned winemakers and America’s finest chefs for an intimate four-day wine and food experience. Educational seminars, wine pairing dinners, reserve and grand tastings offer something for everyone.

Denver International Wine Festival – July 10 to June 12, 2019 – Denver, Colorado

The three-day wine and food festival showcases the largest selection of international and domestic wines at any Grand Tasting in the Rocky Mountain region. Now in its 15th year, the Denver International Wine Festival has been recognized by Food & Wine magazine as one of the “Best Wine Festivals Across America.”

Finger Lakes Wine Festival – July 12 to July 14, 2019 – Watkins Glen, New York

The Finger Lakes Wine Festival offers the largest showcase of New York State wines with over 80 wineries paired with regional artisans, music and culinary classes all at Watkins Glen International.

Intl. Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration – July 19 to July 21, 2019 – Niagara, Ontario

Join winemakers and wine lovers from across the globe in Niagara for a three-day fête unlike any other that blends premium wines, Niagara’s world-class culinary scene and immersive wine education into a long weekend. International Pinot Noir Festival – July 26 to July 28, 2019 – McMinnville, Oregon

The International Pinot Noir Festival is a three-day event, famous around the globe, as a mecca for lovers of Pinot Noir. During the weekend, world-renowned winemakers, chefs, and wine lovers will gather to explore Pinot Noir, savor unforgettable meals, learn and celebrate.

Beachside Wine Festival – July 20, 2019 – Santa Barbara, California

California Wine Festival is a signature wine event in Santa Barbara with thousands of wine lovers gathering at the beachside location for a day of sun, sea, wine, food, and music. The festival features hundreds of fine wines, regional craft brews and a variety of foods to sample.

Vintage Ohio – August 2 & 3, 2019 – Kirtland, Ohio

Sample vinifera wines from Ohio wineries to fun-to-drink fruit wines made from fresh strawberries, blackberries, peaches and raspberries. There is also plenty of scrumptious food, cooking school demonstrations, three stages of live music entertainment, artisans, shopping, and spectacular Friday fireworks.

Pacific Wine & Food Festival – August 17 & 18, 2019 – Newport Beach, California

  1. Just as an FYI. Went to the Windy City Wine Festival and the website says that it will not be returning in 2019. 🙁
