The story of Colline della Stella begins in the late nineties when Andrea, just over twenty years old, decides to recover some old terraced vineyards, abandoned for years in the municipality of Gussago. The northern border of the denomination of Franciacorta.
Thus the Colline della Stella project has become more and more concrete and solid, with a production of great character that has progressively increased to reach about 60,000 bottles a year.
The terroir on which Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines grow has some very special characteristics: particularly a soil-composition made up of limestone with great drainage, able to confer great minerality and salinity to wines.
